Dubbed OMNI-2155-CML, these are the first in the Omni family to offer a socketed processor – selected from Core i3, i5, i7, i9 or Celeron up to 35W TDP – alongside which up to 64Gbyte of DDR4 memory can be fitted.
Built for industrial use, the screen uses projected capacitive touch that can be configured for use with gloves. Resolution is 1,366 x 768 and viewing angle is 170° x 130°. Up to 400cd/m2 is available from the LED backlit screen, which is rated with an MTBF of 50,000hr.
“The system features an M.2 2280 [M-Key] slot driven by PCIe 3.0 [x4] with support for fast NVMe SSDs,” according to the company. “It also delivers M.2 2230 [E-Key] to support functions including Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connectivity. It is also built with a full-sized Mini Card slot which supports PCIe and mSATA, set via the BIOS.” – storage options are NVMe, mSATA and 2.5in SATA III (6.0Gbit/s).
Interfaces include four serial COM ports, four USB3.2 Gen 2 ports and two Gigabit Ethernet ports, “providing support for Intel vPro and AMT, enabling remote monitoring and control”, said Aaeon.
An on-board SIM card slot is provided for wide-area network cellular communication.
Power to the PC can vary across 10 to 35V and operation is from 0°C up to 45°C.
Dimensions are: 420 x 264 x 74mm and 6.75kg.
